The SLT ZERO ONE Awards was held for the second time in Sri Lanka taking efforts to recognize, honor and encourage different brands and institutions from different fields who provide solutions with the influence of digital technologies. National Best Quality ICT Awards (NBQSA) is the only National competition of its kind, which has been in Sri Lanka for 18 years awarding opportunities and recognition to outstanding individuals and organizations who have developed high quality ICT products. NBQSA is organized under 19 categories. Among which, ParkMeApp applied under the “Inclusion & Community” category. The core judging criteria of this category includes; Uniqueness, value to community & society, functionalities & features, Quality & Application of Technology and presentation. A total of 85 commercial category application entries competed in the NBQSA Sri Lanka 2017. This is a prodigious achievement by the ParkMeApp.

ParkMeApp, an initiative of Ceffectz (Pvt) Ltd has been selected as one of the finalists on mBillionth Award 2017. This award is focused on ‘Saluting Mobile Innovation for Development’ in the South Asian Region. This year the award will be presented for the 8th consecutive time. The Grand Jury was held on the 16th of June where 84 nominations were shortlisted from a total of 294 entries, across 10 categories. Some of these categories are Business and Commerce, Culture and Tourism, Media and Entertainment etc.The finalists have been recognized for their contribution in the respective fields as well as their impact on the general public by an experienced panel of jurors. The list of winners, Special mentions and Chairman’s Distinction will be revealed at the 8th mBillionth Awards Gala in New Delhi India, on the 4th of August 2017.
ParkMeApp has applied for the ‘Early Stage’ category and emerged as a finalist in the respective field. What makes this application different from any other is that now the users can save their favourite parking spots and receive notifications whenever any updates or changes are being made. Ceffectz: Wins the Bronze award at the 18th NBQSA 2016
On the 14th of September 2016, a grand awards ceremony was held to reward the winners of the National Best Quality Software Awards 2016 at which Ceffectz (Pvt) Ltd managed to win a bronze award for its product GreetlyApp. The event was graced by the Chief Guest Hon. Harin Fernando, Minister of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure in Sri Lanka.
National Best Quality Awards ICT competition is an annual event in the Sri Lankan calendar, which is organized by the chartered institute for IT (BCS – UK, The CIIT) Sri Lankan section. NBQSA was organized under 19 categories for both students and commercial sectors and Ceffectz emerged triumphant in the e-Inclusion and e-Community category as a bronze award winner. Among the other categories were fields such as security, healthcare, tourism, education etc. Gold, Silver and bronze awards were presented in these categories and only around 65 commercial and tertiary winners were recognized from all over the island out of which GreetlyApp stood out. This year, the competition was held for the 18th consecutive time since its inception in 1998.
